Grilled Swordfish With Melon Salsa Recipe

  • 2 pounds fresh, boneless swordfish steak about 1 inch thick - cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups cantaloupe, peeled and diced
  • 1 1/2 cups honeydew, peeled and diced
  • 1 1/2 cups mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1/3 cup red onion, chopped fine
  • 4 ounces green chilies, diced or 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or chopped fine
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice - squeezed from lime
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
