Spelt Lemon Shortbread Recipe

  • Since this did not come out for one person, I have deleted the recipe. I wouldn't want anyone else to have such a time. Thanks for your interest.
  • I put several recipes from the net on here. You will notice that they all have a lot of butter compared to the flour, gee I wonder if that is why it is shortbread and not bread or cake?

  • 150 grams spelt flour
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 Tablespoons Grated lemon rind

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh lemon rind
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened

  • 1 1/2 sticks of salted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 TB. grated lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon extract

  • 250g butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 3 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 2 cups plain flour, sifted

  • 150g spelt flour 6oz
  • 75g butter 3oz
  • milk to mix
  • 100g pine kernels 4oz
  • 100g runny honey 4oz
  • 1 egg
