Ingredients
- 2 1/2 C flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 lb butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 C packed brown sugar
- 1/4 C granulated sugar
- 1 pkg. (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding
- 2 (large) eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 black tea bags (I use Tazoâ¢)
- 1 Chai tea bag (I use Tazoâ¢)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp cardamom
- 2 tsp (freshly ground) black pepper
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp anise seed (I'm not crazy for the licorice flavor of anise...you may add more if you like.)
- cinnamon (to sprinkle on top of cookies)
