Ingredients
- Outer skin :
- 1 C raw rice , soaked for 1 hr
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 C milk
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fillings :
- 1 C fresh grated coconut , 1/2 C jaggery , 3 cardamoms , 1 tsp ghee - fry until thickens
- OR
- 1 C fresh grated carrot , 1/2 C caster sugar , fried nuts , 3 cardamoms , 1 tsp ghee - fry until thickens
- OR
- 6 cashewnuts , 6 almonds , 2 dates , 3 cherries , 12 raisins , 2 tsp sugar , 3 cardamoms , 2 tsp fresh grated coconut , 2 tsp roasted poppy seeds - mix well
Description
Makes 13 Dumplings . The Skin Will Be Very Soft . It Makes A Great Difference When You Make Your Own Dough Rather Than Using The Instant Powder From The Super Market . One Of My Favourites .
