- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 lemons, zested and squeezed
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 sticks butter (+ 1/3 cup for glaze)
- 1 cup sour cream (or yogurt)
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup slivered almonds (and a few whole if you have any)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
