Ingredients
- 4-5 cups peeled and sliced apples (I used 4 medium to large apples--do not use a tart apple)
- 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
- lemon juice--Enough to sprinkle on apples
- 1/2 cup regular rolled oats
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
