Ingredients
- 1-6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1-14.5 oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 1-14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 4 celery ribs, finely chopped
- 1 large green or red pepper, finely chopped
- 1 medium or large onion, finely chopped
- 1-1/2 lbs. hamburger, browned
- salt, be generous
- pepper, be generous
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tbs. marjoram
- 2 Tbs. basil
- 1 Tbs. rosemary
- 1 Tbs. thyme
- 1 Tbs. oregano
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1-1/2 Tbs. crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 Tbs. EVOO
- zest of 1 lemon
- cheese to taste (mozzarella, cheddar and parmesan-we used all)
- 1 lb. pasta, cooked
- 1/3 cup beef broth
Description
This Dish Is Italian In Nature, But American By Design. If You Have Left Over Pasta And Maybe A Pound Or Two Of Beef, You Can Create This Dish, Substituting What You Don't Have, Like Or Want. Enjoy!!
