  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • chicken or fish stock
  • 1 abalone, 4 to 5 ounces, shucked, cleaned and sliced 1/8 inch thick
