Sage Turkey Burgers With Swiss Cheese And Honey Dijon Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • For turkey patties:
  • 1 thick slice pugliese bread (to make about 1 cup breadcrumbs)
  • 4 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoons fresh parsely
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 lb. fresh ground turkey, thigh meat
  • 1 cage free egg
  • splash of heavy cream
  • kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • olive oil

  • 4 slices swiss cheese, room temp (Dofino brand preferably)
  • sliced red onion, rinsed
  • organic baby lettuce
  • 4 cracked wheat buns, sliced and toasted
  • honey Dijon Sauce (mix 1/3 cup mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon each of honey and Dijon mustard)
