- Chopped fresh oregano, marjoram, or parsley leaves for garnishing
- Basic Pizza Dough:
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
- Pinch sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for coating bowl
- 2 1/2 to 3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more if necessary
- cornmeal, as necessary, for dusting pizza peel
