- 10 good-sized apples (may only need 7-8 apples if they're larger, or may need a couple more if small) - also, I like Cortland apples the best!
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 cup sugar (or Splenda)
- *optional: cinnamon
- For topping:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter (best with real butter, not margarine) - melted
- cinnamon
