Braised Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1" pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 Tbs. flour
  • olive oil
  • 1 onion, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 - 14 oz. cans of beef stock
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. dried Italian herb seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 3 medium potatoes, red, white or Yukon, peeled or not, cut into 1" pieces (enough to make three cups)
  • "Baby" carrots, cut into uniform pieces - about 3/4" (enough to make one cup)

Description

Smells Wonderful While It Is Braising. My Final Version After A Few Tweaking Sessions.
