- 1 small onion
- 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Can (400g) Chopped tomato
- 250g Mozarella
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup shiraz
- Lasagne Sheets (18cm x 10 cm)
- Parmesan to taste

- Herbs: (fresh herbs would be more potent)
- ----------
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 Can (140g) tomato paste
- 2 Teaspoons Crushed garlic (or more)
- 1 Teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dried thyme
- 1/2 Teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1/2 Teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 Teaspoon dried rosemary
- salt + pepper to taste

- Cheese Sauce:
- ----------
- 1 egg
- 250g ricotta cheese
