Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef ( ground lamb or chicken can be substituted)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Chopped ginger root
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Corriander
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon tumeric ( saffron if you have it )
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 5 green chilies
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- juice of 1 large lemon
- 2 slices of bread- soaked in water then squeezed to drain- tear apart
- 1/4 bunch of mint leaves - chopped
- 1 egg- beaten
- bread crumbs
- canola oil to fry
- salt and pepper to taste
