Almond-raspberry Bars - Diabetic Friendly Recipe


  • Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ Cup Equal spoonful or equivalent sweetner
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 8 Tbs. cold stick margarine, cut into pieces
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbs. Skin milk or water
  • 2 Tbs. grated lemon peel
  • 2/3 cup sugar-free or lite seedless raspberry spreadable fruit.
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • ½ cup chopped toasted almonds, walnuts, or pecans
