- 2 cups fine semolina (wheat semolina is best)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder.
- 1/2 cup dry coconut
- 1/2 cup of butter/or margarine
- 4tbsp of canola oil
- 3 tablespoon orange blossom water or rose water or 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
- 1 cup 2% plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup white or brown sugar
- For lite sugar syrup
- 1/2 cup white or brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom
- 1 small cinnamon stick(optional)
- 1tsp of margarine to grease the baking tray.
- 1/2 cup whole or chopped nuts for garnish(I used already grilled almonds and macadamia nuts)
