Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 bottle chianti
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 medium carrots, peeled & diced
- 3 celery stocks, diced
- 5 pieces turkey bacon, cut into 1-inch strips
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup button mushrooms, stems removed & thickly sliced
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
- a few fresh sprigs of thyme
- salt, freshly ground black pepper, garlic powder
- olive oil
Description
This Is One Of Those Meals That Gets Better After Sitting Overnight In The Fridge! It Is My Own Version Of The Traditional French Dish "Coq Au Vin." I Decided To Use Chianti, Since It Is My Favorite Red Wine :) I Also Cut Up The Chicken
