Pear Apple And Cranberry Tarte Tatin Recipe

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1C white whole-wheat flour or all -purpose flour
  • 1/2C old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1T granulated sugar
  • 1/2t salt
  • 4T cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 2T canola oil
  • 3T ice water
  • Filling:
  • 2 ripe but firm pears, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 large apple, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1T lemon juice
  • 1/2C light brown sugar
  • 2T unsalted butter
  • 1t ground cinnamon
  • 1/2t ground ginger
  • 1C fresh cranberries
