Chicken And Leek Lasagne With Ricotta Recipe

Ingredients

  • chicken FILLING
  • 1 kilo chicken thigh mince
  • 500 grams bacon
  • 6 medium leeks
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cup stock of choice (chicken or vegetable: if using powder or cubes follow directions for 1 cup liquid)
  • cracked black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 5-7 drops of Tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbs vegemite spread (or Marmite)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
  • TOMATO NAPOLI
  • 3 cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2 large brown onions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • juice of one lemon
  • white pepper, to taste.
  • 4x 500gram packets lasagne sheets, dried
  • 1 kilo ricotta cheese
  • 250 grams parmesan cheese
