Ingredients
- bread PUDDING
- 3/4 cup amaretto liqueur
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 - 8 oz. can almond paste
- 3 TBSP. flour
- 3 cups eggnog
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 6 cups day-old bread cubes (I freeze leftover cinnamon rolls and yeast doughnuts for this recipe)
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- Amaretto SAUCE
- 1 TBSP cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water, divided
- 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur (reserved from bread pudding recipe)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 4 TBSP. butter or margarine
