- 1 lb lean pork
- 2 tbs fennel seed
- 1/2 cup fresh whole basil leaves washed and dried
- salt and pepper to taste - I like to use sea salt and pepper corns about 1/2 tbs of each
- (if you want to spice it up add red pepper flakes)
