Ingredients
- For Salmon
- 6 4oz salmon fillets
- 4T butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- juice from 1 lime
- For Jicama apple Slaw
- 1 large jicama, peeled and julienned
- 2 medium apples, julienned or shredded(I didn't peel them)
- 1 large or 2 small bell peppers, diced
- 1 large onion sliced very thin
- juice from 1 lime
- 2t lime zest
- For Dressing/Dipping Sauce
- juice from 1 limes
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup Chinese Hot Mustard(or sub spicy brown or similar)
- 2T Thai Chili Sauce(hot or mild or sweet, to taste)
- 2T honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2t lemongrass
- 1 shallot, grated
- 2t Worcestershire sauce(can sub soy sauce, if desired)
- 2t rice vinegar
- 1/4-1t red pepper flakes, to taste
- 1/4 cup salad quality olive oil
- kosher or sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2T sesame seeds(toasted, if desired)
Description
I Decided To Combine These Into One Recipe Because The Sauce Works So Well For Both, And Served Together, Created A Really Nicely Complimented Meal. If You Just Want To Make The Slaw Just Cut The Dressing Ingredients In Half.
