Fried Tofu With Stir Fried Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients

  • For the tofu:
  • 1 block extra firm tofu
  • Coating:
  • 2 tbs cornstarch
  • 3 tbs flour
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup white seseme seeds
  • Vegetables:
  • brocolli florets as desired- steam crisp tender
  • cauliflower florets as desired- steam crisp tender
  • Dried shitake mushrooms, or other mushrooms Dried: soaked in hot water and reconstituted and then slice
  • Other veges for color as desired : ex red bell peppers, carrots etc.
  • Sauce:
  • Peanut Sauce:
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • hot black tea
  • l squeeze of lime juice to taste
  • dash sugar to taste
  • clove garlic minced
  • splash soy sauce to taste
  • Second sauce:
  • Thai bottled sweet chili sauce
  • Third sauce:
  • Thai coconut
  • Garnish: Vietnamese corriander leaves
  • Optional: roasted sheeled peanuts or even honey roasted peanuts
  • peanut oil or canol oil to fry
