Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  3. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  4. 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  5. 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  6. 1 large egg
  7. 1 large egg yolk
  8. 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons peach preserves
  9. 3 to 4 firm white peaches, cut into 1/2-inch wedges
  10. Confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
