  6. 1 pound cockles, scrubbed
  7. 1/2 cup dry white wine
  8. 1/2 cup bottled clam broth
  9. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  10. 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
  11. Pinch of smoked sweet paprika (optional)
