- 2 tablespoons melted
- 2 small onions, coarsely chopped
- 2 celery ribs, coarsely chopped
- 2 carrots, coarsely chopped
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 quart Rich Turkey Stock, chicken stock or canned low-sodium broth
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
