  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups shredded parsnips
  • 1 cup ground walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup simple syrup,(1 cup water, 1 cup sugar heated until sugar is dissolved)
