  • 2 teaspoons minced green onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell peppers
  • 2 cups thinly sliced Napa cabbage
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon diced green onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • MEAT LAYER:
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced green onion
  • 1/2 cup ground pork
  • 1/2 pound 1/2-inch diced shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch, dissolved in 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 large shrimp, split in 1/2 lengthwise
  • Whole cilantro leaves, for garnish
