Ingredients

  • 6 cups Doughnuts, leftover raised, but into cubes (suggestions: raisin glazed ring/pg. 72, raspberry bullseyes/pg.81, apple fritters/pg. 88 or maple bars/pg. 83)
  • 4 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Dark Rum, or 1/2 tsp rum extracts
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 14 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 34 cup Heavy Whipping Cream, (double cream)
  • 1 cup Confectioner's (Icing) Sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 12 tablespoons Hot Water
