  • 2 gallons Water
  • 2 Chicken, 2 1/2 lbs each
  • Peanut Oil, or Canola Oil, for deep frying
  • 6 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 14 cup Garlic Powder
  • 14 cup Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika, plus 1 teaspoon
  • 1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper, plus 1 teaspoon
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher Salt, plus 1 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 quart Buttermilk
  • Fleur De Sel, ground, or fine sea salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Kosher Salt
  • Fresh Rosemary, and Thyme sprigs for garnish
