Margaret's Classic Roast Spring Lamb And Vegetables

    2kg leg of lamb 
    4 sprigs rosemary
    2 garlic cloves, quartered
    salt and ground pepper
    2 onions, thinly sliced
    1 cup white wine
    1 cup water

    Gravy
    50g Devondale Dairy Soft butter
    2 tbs Homebrand plain flour
    1 1/2 cups vegetable stock

    Vegies to serve with:
    18 baby potatoes
    500g Kent pumpkin, cut into thin wedges
    3 carrots, trimmed
    1/4 cup olive oil
