Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 3 ea Shallot , peeled and diced small
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic , fresh
  • 1 tsp Ginger , fresh, peeled and minced
  • 2 med Red Pepper , seeded and diced small
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper , ground
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper , ground
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp Parsley Italian Fresh , stems removed, leaves chopped
  • 5 strands Green Onion , ends removed, cut small
  • 2 Tbsp Basil Fresh , stems removed, leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp Thyme Fresh , stems removed, leaves chopped
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan , grated or powdered
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice , freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise , (prefer Hellmans)
  • 1 cup Panko Crumbs , or bread crumbs
  • 2 ea Egg large
  • 1 lb Lump Crabmeat , picked over to remove any shell fragments
