Tasty Chicken Wrap Recipe

Ingredients

Wraps can be made ahead of time and with any ingredients you have on hand, plus they're handy and can be eaten with little fuss.



The recipe below is for a crunchy crispy chicken bacon wrap. We added a festive touch to the tailgate party we served these at by wrapping them in themed printed partyware from Gwynn Wasson Designs.





12 Flour Tortillas
1 pound of deli sliced chicken breast
2 heads of romaine lettuce
1 English cucumber
1 Large red onion
1 finely grated garlic clove
6 tomatoes
12 Slices of crispy bacon
1 bundle of coriander
3 table spoons of olive oil
Salt & Pepper



Instructions



Finely grate the garlic clove and add it to a large mixing bowl with the olive oil, stirring to blend the two together.  



Chop up the lettuce, tomatoes, onion and cucumber before adding to the mixing bowl, blending the mixture until everything is covered in the garlic oil. 



Nect, coarsely chop the cilantro and blend it into the mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste, adding more olive oil if needed. 



Warm your tortillas on a non-stick pan just long enough to make them soft, not cook them.



Once warm add a few slices of chicken breast (deli sliced will work well!) and a slice of crispy bacon to the top of the tortilla. Top with your salad mixture. 



Fold the wraps like you would a burrito and then wrap again in a wax paper to keep them fresh.



Wrapped, these chicken wraps will keep for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
