Basic Fried Rice And Variations

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red capsicum, seeded and chopped finely
  • 1 green capsicum, seeded and chopped finely
  • 1 stalk celery, finely sliced
  • 2 rashers bacon, rind removed and chopped, or 3 Tbsp bacon pieces
  • 3 cups long grain rice that has been cooked in chicken stock the day before
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Soy sauce, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp fresh coriander, chopped

Description

Fried Rice Is Best Made With Day Old Cooked Long Grain Rice. The Rice Can Be Brown Or White.
