Self-saucing Chocolate Pudding


  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • Pinch salt
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Sift all dry cake ingredients into serving bowl. Mix milk, vanilla and melted butter and add to dry ingredients, mix well. Clean around the edges of the bowl.
  • For the sauce –
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • 1 and ¾ cup hot water
