Ingredients

  • FILLING
  • 1 kg marinara mix
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 4 gloves garlic finely chopped or 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 piece 5 cm x 1 cm thick fresh ginger grated or 1 Tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 Tbsp minced lemon grass
  • 1/2 cup chopped corriander
  • 20 fresh curry leaves
  • 1 tsp crushed chilli or chilli powder or 1 red chilli seeded – to taste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbs olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 Tbsp of cold water
  • BATTER
  • 2 cups S.R. flour
  • 11/2 cup COLD lite coconut milk
  • 4 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup olive/vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
