  • 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 ounces (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
