  • 1/4 C. margarine, melted
  • 4 egg whites or 2 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 C. whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. mace
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 3/4 C. walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 C. chopped dates
  • 1/4 C. shredded coconut
  • 1/2 C. raisins
