Ingredients
- 4 strips bacon
- 1/2-C. all-purpose flour
- 1-tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 boneless, skinless turkey breast (3 lbs.),
- Cut into 1-inch pieces
- Vegetable oil as needed
- 1 medium onion, cut into eighths
- 3 large leeks, trimmed and well washed, white and light green parts cut into 1/2-inch slices (5 C.)
- 2 ribs celery, cut into 1/2-inch slices (1-1/2 C.)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1/2 C. dry white wine
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth, plus water to equal 2 C.
- 1-Tbs. soy sauce
- 1 Tbs. finely chopped lemon rind
- 1/2 C. sweetened dried cranberries softened in hot water 30 minutes and drained
- 1-tsp. salt
- 1/4-tsp. black pepper
