• 6 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped (you can substitute 3 oz. each of milk & bittersweet Perugina chocolate– available in supermarkets)
• 2 C. chilled whipping cream
• 1/2 tsp. pure almond extract (you can substitute 2 oz. Disaronno Almond Liquor)
• 1/4 C. powdered sugar
• 1/2 C. sliced almonds, toasted, coarsely crumbled
• unsweetened cocoa powder
