  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 1 1/4 cups (175g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons (90g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (essence)
