- 2x7 ounce packages frozen crabmeat, thawed, and, drained
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Coating
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 egg, lightly, beaten
- 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil, for deep-frying
- 6 softcrusted French roll
- tartar sauce, (recipe follows)
- tomato, slices
- shredded lettuce
Tartar Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
- 2 teaspoons minced gherkin
- 2 teaspoons minced capers
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons lemon, juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sweet pickle, relish
