  • 1 fresh chile or hot pepper flakes, to taste
  • 1 large clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger (15 ml)
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt, full fat (75 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro (15 ml)
  • Coarse salt and freshly cracked black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for brushing the grill
