  • 3/4 cup whole hazelnuts, peeled, toasted and chopped

  • 3/4 cup candied orange peel, chopped
  • 6 tablespoons candied lemon peel, chopped
  • 6 tablespoons raisins
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate, bittersweet or semisweet, cut into pieces
  • 6 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • dash of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter

Crème Fraîche

  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  •     or lemon juice
