Lamb And Feta Cheese Calzones

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 - 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning, crushed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup warm water (120 degree F to 130 degree F)
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 pound ground lamb or ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Herbed Pizza Sauce (see Recipe Center) or one 8-ounce can pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced pitted ripe olives or sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese or shredded provolone cheese (4 ounces)
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seed
