  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 14 1/2 ounce can chicken broth
  • 1 cup half-and-half, light cream, or milk
  • 2 cups cubed, peeled butternut squash
  • 2 cups cubed, peeled sweet potato and/or sliced carrots
  • 1 1/2 cups small Brussels sprouts, quartered
  • 1 medium red sweet pepper, seeded and cut into bite-size strips
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • Cracked black pepper
