  • 8 cups vegetable broth or reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 6 ounce carton plain fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup snipped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
  • 1 - 2 whole grain pita bread rounds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped red sweet pepper (1 large)
  • Toasted sesame seeds* (optional)
