2 pounds cleaned, raw shrimp (about 3 pounds in shell), halved lengthwise
1 1-pound can (2 cups) applesauce
4 cans condensed cream of celery soup
1 6-ounce (1 1/3 cups) can broiled sliced mushrooms undrained
2 tablespoons curry powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
