Granny Jan's Seafood Supreme

Ingredients

  • Stuffing:
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 large bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 lbs shrimp, peeled deveined
  • 1 lb dark crab meat, picked clean
  • 3 boxes cornbread stuffing mix or 2 pans cornbread, crumbled
  • 3 tbsp prepared horseradish
  • 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mrs. Dash table blend
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 4-6 cups chicken broth or stock
  • Seafood:
  • 4 large fish fillets, flounder, grouper or snapper
  • 4 tbsp butter, broken into pieces
  • Garnish for fish:
  • Salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash and garlic powder to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish
