- 1 1/2 tablespoons (mesquite) liquid smoke
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- For boiling:
- 6 cups water
- 2 tea bags of orange-spice tea
- 2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 4 large country-style pork ribs
